For Dance 1 (2002) an older woman and a young man came to the studio. I played music and choreographed a little dance based on movements taken from classical ballet. Joyce and Davis (2003), was filmed one year later. The video builds on the close friendship that developed between the three of us over the course of a year. The resulting video is to a large degree built on intimacy and trust.
